Shepherd Hill volleyball girls win again

DUDLEY – The Shepherd Hill Rams girls’ volleyball team avenged its only loss of the season by stopping Whitinsville Christian 3-1 en route to their eleventh victory of the season last Wednesday (October 10) at the Shepherd Hill gym.

Seniors Jen Green and Julie Preissler played well in the win for the Tom Caffelle-coached Rams, who are in the midst of  a nearly flawless campaign.

The victory evened the score with Whitinsville Christian (8-3), who won in the two team’s first meeting on September 24.

The 11-1 Rams will play at Shrewsbury on Friday, October 19, and then finish their season with two games at home versus Tantasqua on October 22 and Sutton on October 29, with a locked-up district playoff appearance in their future.
