Lady Pirates fall to Warriors 42-31

OXFORD -The Oxford Lady Pirates fell to the Tantasqua Warriors 42-31 in Southern Worcester County League play last Wednesday,  January 9.

Senior co-captain Caroline Bercier led the Pirates in scoring with 11 points and nine rebounds. Sophomore Callie Andrews added seven points, while senior Abbey Kyei, sophomore Evelyn Marquis, and senior Blair Reilly all had four points in the loss.

The Pirates also were beaten by the Uxbridge Spartans on Friday, January 11, 40-21. Kyei led all Pirates scorers with six points, while Andrews and Reilly each scored four points.

The 2-7 Pirates will meet Shepherd Hill on Tuesday, January 22, in a key local match-up.
