Pirates Youth Cheer qualify for Florida Nationals

Oxford/Webster Youth Football and Cheer completed a very successful inaugural season with the 12 U cheering squad qualifying for the Nationals in Florida. "This is a huge accomplishment for ANY cheer squad, but for our girls to have worked as hard as they did and go THIS FAR in their first season is truly exceptional," said Krista Lewis, director of fundraising for the program.

"As a league we are doing our best to help get the girls the funds they need to get to Florida, as it is mandatory that all first and second place regional champions participate.  We are asking local businesses, Pirates family, friends and neighbors to help out in any way they can.  We have set up a website through Central MA American Youth Cheer, which is our governing organization, to help collect monetary donations to send these amazingly talented girls to Florida to compete in Nationals," she continued.
