Armed robbery of Himalaya Wok delivery driver

On January 16, 2012 at approximately 7:10 pm Webster Police were dispatched to Clark St. for a reported armed robbery that had occurred. The victim of the robbery was a delivery driver for Himalaya Wok. It was determined that the delivery driver had been sent to deliver an order to an address on Clark St. in Webster. Upon the Driver’s arrival on Clark St. he exited his vehicle and was subsequently approached by two (2) male suspects. One of the male suspects brandished a firearm while the other suspect robbed the driver of his cash.

The suspects were described as dark skinned males, both approximately 5’ 8" - 5’ 10" tall and having average builds. They were all described as skinny and wearing all black clothing. Both suspects were described to have been in their mid to late teens or early 20’s.

The suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. They ran down Granite St. towards E. Main St. Through the investigation it became apparent that the delivery drivers was targeted through the placement of a fictitious food order. Webster Police believe that the fictitious order was placed for the purpose of committing the robbery.

Information obtained at the scene from the victim indicates a strong connection to a robbery that occurred on January 14, 2012 during which a delivery driver from Domino’s Pizza was directed.
