Rep. Kuros rotating office hours, towns
Effective January 1st, State Representative Kevin Kuros will be moving to rotating office hours and locations in all five towns in his district, rather than fixed office hours in his current Webster location. Kuros noted, "We've had the office open on Main Street for a year now. While it's been modestly used by Webster residents and to a lesser degree Dudley residents, I can count on one hand the number of Oxford, Douglas and Uxbridge residents who have stopped in the office in the 12 months it's been open. To better and more equally service all five towns - and I ran on being a five town Rep - I need to recognize that many of my constituents find it inconvenient to come to Webster to meet with me. As a result, I've decided to close the permanent office and schedule rotating hours to increase my accessibility throughout the district."
Kuros continued, "In early January I will publish a several month schedule of office hours and locations. As always, I can be reached at 774-495-0538. I've enjoyed my year on Main Street and look forward to its continued revitalization, as three significant new businesses have opened there in the last year alone. However, the demands of office hours when typically only one or two constituents show up per day constrains my ability to provide equal accessibility to all my constituents, including those from other towns who do not drive."
