Albert E. Fontaine, 57

DUDLEY – Albert E. Fontaine, 57, died Wednesday, December 5, 2012 in UMass/Memorial Healthcare, Worcester, after an illness.

He leaves 4 siblings, Cindy Baker and her husband Al of Dudley, Robert Fontaine and his wife Amy of Hollywood, FL, George Tryba with whom he lived, and Diane Cullan and her husband Gerard of Southbridge; nephews and nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces and a close friend, Sharon Troy of Dudley. He was predeceased by 2 brothers, Michael Fontaine and Mark Tryba.

He was born in Southbridge and raised in Dudley, the oldest son of Albert O. and Cecile J. (Thomas) Fontaine Tryba and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Bartlett High School.

He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Mr. Fontaine was currently a machine operator and inspector at Gentex Optics where he worked for 24 years. He enjoyed fishing and watching sports, especially wrestling and football.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 12, at 11:00 AM in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace, Old Worcester Road, Webster. The Webster-Dudley Veterans Council will perform the military honors. Calling hours will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 11, in the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster.
