Anthony C. Dalimonte, 91
Webster – Anthony C. Dalimonte, age 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 26, 2012.
He was the son of the late Maria and Bartolomeo Dalimonte. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Yolanda M. (DiGiovanni) Dalimonte of Webster; two daughters, Linda A. Biando of Missoula, Montana, and Dianne M. Beaulieu of Tiverton, RI; five grandchildren, Michele L. Beauleiu and her fiancé Steven Bennett, Julie B. Edwards and her husband Stephan, Kathryn M. Heckert, Joel A. Beaulieu and Kristin M. Morss and her husband Travis; five great grandsons and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph, August and Vittorio, his sisters, Ann DiFederico and Mary Marcone and sons-in-law, Conrad Beaulieu and Stephen R. Biando.
Anthony was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He worked for more than forty years at the American Optical Co. in Southbridge and several years at Nichols College in Dudley upon retirement. He was also a life member of the American Legion and a communicant of Saint Louis Church.
Tony, as he was fondly known by many, enjoyed golfing, gardening, walking, reading, and playing cards. His greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his family.
Calling hours will be on Thursday, November 1, 2012, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 2, 2012, at 10:00 am in Saint Louis Church, Lake Street, Webster. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
