Christopher J. Mayes, 42
WEBSTER-Christopher J. ‘The Kid’ Mayes, 42, of 24 Fifth St., passed away Friday, April 20, 2012 in his home.
He leaves his parents, Ronald M. and Janice R. (Faber) Mayes, a sister, Jennifer L. wife of Robert W. Morton of Thompson, Ct., a son Dakoda , his favorite aunt; Charlotte Peterson of Irvine, Ca., a niece, Kaitlyn and grand niece, Lillian, and the Love of His Life, Susan Szymczak and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Chris was born in Webster and graduated from Bartlett High School in 1987, he also played baseball and was co-captain of the team; he also played football. At one time he worked as a mason for Webster Masonry and later worked at the former Dudley Nursery.
He was a member of T.S.K.K., an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
The Kid was well liked by all who knew him.
The Funeral will be Monday, April 30, 2012 with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Louis Church, 16 Lake St.
Burial will be at a later date.
Calling Hours will be Sunday, April 29, 2012 from 3 to 7 PM at the Robert J. Miller Funeral Home and Lake Chapel, 366 School St.
