David H. Marcoux, 55
WEBSTER – David H. Marcoux, 55, of Webster, died Monday, August 13th after a courageous battle with cancer. He passed at home with his loving wife at his side.
He leaves his wife of 37 years, Nancy J. (Rizner) Marcoux, whom he adored; 2 daughters, Deanna L. Mayrhofer and her husband Francesco of Allen, TX and Kelly A. Seddiki and her husband Belkacem of Webster; 4 grandchildren; his parents, Harold and Sunshine Marcoux; a sister, Linda Reid of Holden; a brother, Daniel Marcoux of Webster; his mother-in-law, Pauline C. (Mellen) Rizner of Dudley; aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends. He was predeceased by his father-in-law, Albert P. Rizner.
He was born in Webster, the son of Harld S. and Sunshine (Martin) Marcoux and lived in Thompson and Webster. He attended Bartlett High School and graduated from Marianapolis Preparatory School in Thompson. He studied at Franklin Pierce College.
As the proprietor of Marcoux Design Build, Inc., Mr. Marcoux built new homes and additions. He started his company in 1977.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Oxford.
He was a devoted husband, loving father, and beloved friend.
Mr. Marcoux donated his body to the Harvard Medical School Anatomical Gift Program for biomedical research. A memorial service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 70 Main Street, Oxford, on Thursday September 13th at 10am. Donations in his name may be made to Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center.
