North Grosvenordale – Estelle L. (Girard) Christo, age 86, of 82 Pasay Road, died Monday, January 9, 2012, at home.

She leaves her husband, Lino Christo; two daughters, Susan Pascale of Thompson and Karen Conroy of Chepatchet, RI; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Ronald Godin of North Kingston, RI.

Estelle was born in Central Falls, RI, daughter of the late Edmond and Laura (Rock) Girard and lived in Smithfield, RI before moving to Thompson seven years ago.

She was a retired special needs teachers aide, having worked many years at Butler Hospital. Estelle was an avid bingo player.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012, at 9:00 am in Saint Joseph Church, Main Street, North Grosvenordale. There are no calling hours. Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster is directing arrangements.
