Webster - Helen B .(O’Connell)Shaw, 92, died Monday, October 22 ,2012 after an illness.

Her husband Clifford Shaw died in 1988.

She leaves five daughters: Sandra Plasse and her husband  George of Webster,  Billie Cote of Las Vegas, Mary Thompson and her husband Daniel of Canterbury, CT, Linda Jackson and her husband  Robert of Florida. Dale Duquette and her husband Arsene  “Joe” of North Grosvenordale Ct.

Two sons: James Bellisle of Putnam Ct, William Auger of Dudley and many; grandchildren ,great grandchildren, nieces and nephews .Predeceased by Sons, David Bellisle and Francis Bellisle .

She was born in Middletown, CT, the daughter of the late Michael and  Mary (Surprise) O'Connell. She lived in Virginia and Webster for 30 years . Helen was a resident for the past 6 years at Matulaitis Nursing home in Putnam .

Helen enjoyed spending time with her family, playing board games . She was an avid reader and fan of  Jeopardy. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday  Oct. 24 from 3 to 5 pm at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley with a prayer service at 5:00 pm. Burial will be at a later date in Mt.
