James E. Peterson, 61

WEBSTER - James E. Peterson, 61, of Webster, died August 8, 2012 after being stricken ill at his home.

He leaves 2 daughters, Tammy L. Peterson of Sebring, Florida and Jaime L. Peterson of Dudley; 3 brothers, George B. Peterson, Jr. and his wife Norma of Webster, David J. Peterson of North Carolina and Ray A. Peterson and his wife Linda of Daytona Beach, FL; a sister, Penny L. Peterson of Webster; 5 grandchildren; and nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Deanna M. Peterson in 1982.

He was born in Webster, a son of George B. Peterson, Sr. and Lydia A. (Juskiewicz) Peterson, and was a lifelong resident.

Mr. Peterson was a floor mechanic for many years for George’s Installations. He was currently employed as a general repair man. He belonged to the TSKK and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was known to many of his friends as “Peanut Butter.”

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster.
