Webster - Joan F. (Kubiak) Racicot, age 63, died Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at UMASS Memorial Health Care - University Campus, Worcester.

She leaves her husband of 42 years, Donald F. Racicot of Webster; one son, Matthew Racicot of New Bedford; two sisters, Judith A. Kubiak and Patricia J. Greenlief, both of Dudley; three brothers, Paul J. Kubiak of the Villages, Lake Lake, FL., Robert C. Kubiak of Dudley, and Joseph C. Kubiak of Oakhill, VA.; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Alexandra Racicot of New Bedford; several nieces and nephews.

Joan was born in Webster, daughter of Eugenia (Evanski) Kubiak of Dudley, and the late Joseph C. Kubiak. She was an image processing clerk at Webster Five Bank and enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting in her spare time.

There are no calling hours. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2012, at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, East Main Street, Webster.

The family requests that flowers be omitted and that donations be made to the Webster Paramedics, Thompson Road, Webster, MA 01570 or the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701. Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster is directing arrangements.
