WEBSTER – Joanne R. (Stewart) Morse, age 78, formerly of Emil Street, died Monday, March 19, 2012, at Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester.

She was the wife of the late Charles L. Morse Sr., who died in 1996. She leaves three sons, Charles L. Morse Jr. of Texas, Stephen H. Morse of Auburn and Thomas C. Morse of West Brookfield; one daughter, Jerralyn Corey of Auburn; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Donald Stewart of Webster, and by a sister, Marion Zinck of Worcester.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Charles G. and Mary E. (Lorraine) Stewart and lived in Oxford before moving to Webster in 1971. She retired from B & W Footwear in 1992. She was a member of the Circle of Charity in Webster, and the Royal Travelers Club in North Grosvenordale.

There are no calling hours. Funeral services and burial are private. Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster is directing arrangements.
