Rochdale- John E. Tebo, age 74, of Rochdale, died Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at home.

He leaves his wife of 32 years Philomena H. (Rokoszak) Laramie Tebo of Rochdale; a son, John T. Tebo of Rochdale; two daughters, Karen Vincent of Coldbrook, NY and Carol Becker of Hudson, NH; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; special nieces and nephews.

He was born in Worcester, son of the late Alfred W. and Mary K. (Ryan) Tebo and lived Thompson, CT before moving to Rochdale 32 years ago. He graduated from Saint Peter’s Boys Trade School in 1955 and attended Wentworth Institute in Brookline.

He was a diesel and high compression engine mechanic and worked at Wyman Gordon’s Electric Truck Garage for 10 years. He also worked at the Worcester Post Office as an analyst and mechanic for 28 years. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran.

A special thank you to his daughter-in-law, Cheryl Tebo and his nephew and niece, John and Ellen Urbanovitch.

There are no calling hours. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 10 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Webster. Please go directly to the church. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of the donors choice. The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster is directing arrangements.
