Lorraine T. Latour, 83

NORTH GROSVENORDALE, CT – Lorraine T. (Eno) Latour, 83, of North Grosvenordale, died Saturday, March 17, 2012 in Day Kimball Hospital, Putnam surrounded by family and friends after an illness. Her husband of 42 years, Norman B. Latour, died in 1989.

She leaves a daughter, Linda D. Latour, with whom she lived; 2 sons, James T. Latour and his wife Cindy, and Ronald A. Latour and his wife Linda, all of Webster, MA; 5 grandchildren, Renee, Buffie, Alison, Kelly and Brittany; 5 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters and a brother.

She was born and raised in Putnam, the daughter of Anderson and Aldea (Larose) Eno. She lived in Webster for 25 years before moving to North Grosvenordale over 20 years ago.

Mrs. Latour worked at Putnam Furnishing Company, at Bates Shoe in Webster, MA, at Colt’s Plastic in North Grosvenordale, and for 20 years as a dietary aide at the Holy Spirit Provincial House in Putnam. She retired in 2007.

She was once a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Webster.

Calling hours will be held Thursday evening, March 22, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster, MA , with a service at 7:00 PM. Burial will be private. Donations in her name may be made to Day Kimball Hospital, 326 Pomfret Street, Putnam, CT 06261.
