Mary J. Cutting, age 84
Webster – Mary J. (Cronin) Cutting, age 84, died Friday, July 6, 2012, at Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester.
She leaves her husband of 65 years, Francis E. Cutting of Webster; one son, Michael L. Cutting of Webster; four daughters, Sheila A. Avakian and her husband Peter of Largo, FL., Mary Ellen Piarulli and her husband Vincent of Oxford, Patricia Ludovico and her husband William of Webster and Frances Buccini and her husband Michael of Webster; one brother, Robert Cronin and his wife Patricia of Worcester, one sister, Catherine Callan of Maine; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, George Duplisea of Grafton. She was predeceased by a daughter, Kathleen Duplisea of Grafton.
Mary was born in Boston, daughter of the late Michael and Julia (Connors) Cronin and lived in Worcester before moving to Webster in 1980. She retired from UMASS Hospital, where she worked in the housekeeping department. She was a devoted wife and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Mary’s Funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, from the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster with a Mass at 11:00 am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Webster. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Wednesday from 9:30 am to 10:45 am.
