Nancy Rudolph, 87

OXFORD – Nancy (Urbank) Rudolph, 87, of Old Dudley Road, died Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Northborough. She is survived by two daughters, Ann Marie Hotovec of Las Cruces, NM, and Janet Corrado of Westborough; a brother, Robert E. Urbank of Windsor Locks, CT; a sister, Marge Auger of Northborough; four grandchildren, one great grandson, and several nephews and nieces. She was born in Providence, RI, the daughter of the late Walter T. and Anna R. (McGaw) Urbank, and lived in Providence, Northbridge, and Worcester, before moving to Oxford in 1953. She graduated from Northbridge High School in 1943, and later from Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Worcester.

Mrs. Rudolph was a registered nurse supervisor at Hubbard Regional Hospital in Webster for 29 years, retiring in 1990. She was an active member of the First Congregational Church in Oxford and participated in the church choir. She was a member of the Oxford Belles in Oxford and was a hospice volunteer.

The family would like to thank the many organizations and people that helped care for their mother over the years, especially Beaumont in Northborough.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 2, 2012, at the First Congregational Church, 355 Main St., Oxford. Burial will be private at a later date. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the V.N.A. Care Hospice, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608, or to the First Congregational Church, P.O. Box 585, Oxford, MA 01540. Paradis Funeral Home in Oxford is assisting with the arrangements.
