Dudley - Paul J. Wilga, 89, died Dec. 28 in Harrington Hospital, Southbridge after an illness. His wife of 64 years, Rose(Gagnon) Wilga died in 2008
He leaves one son: Paul S. Wilga and his wife Linda of Webster,
Three daughters: Susan Zielinski of Sorrento, FL, Janet Forrester and her husband Gordon of Webster, and Norma Kapitluik of Shelburne Ma. one brother: Gerald Wilga of Thompson, CT . 10 grandchildren 20 great -grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Many; nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his Son, Steven Wilga, brothers Robert Tug Wilga, Bernard Wilga and Raymond Wilga
He was born in Webster, MA, the son of the late Stanley and Eva (Boudreau) Wilga. He worked several years for Harry Seder . Paul was a member of the Teamsters Local 170 . He worked as a Truck Driver for the former P. Wajer Express co. in Dudley for many years .
Paul loved his family he enjoyed traveling to Florida and especially trips to Cape Cod for some calming.
He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church and lived most his live in Dudley.
A funeral will be held Saturday Dec. 31 from Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Anthony of Padua Church 24 Dudley Hill Rd. Dudley burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery Webster . Calling hours for Paul are Friday Dec. 30 from 4 to 8 PM at the funeral home .
