Webster - Paula A. (McQuaid) Murphy, age 87, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at the Transitional Care Unit at Hubbard Hospital, Webster.

She is survived by two sons, David P. Murphy and Phillip J. Murphy, both of Fort Collins, CO.; three grandchildren, James McQuaid Murphy of Dudley, MA., Matthew Murphy of Fort Collins, CO., and Elizabeth Murphy Russell of Littleton, CO.; three great-grandchildren, Jake Russell, Avery Russell and Broklyn Russell, all of Littleton, CO.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Paul and Grace (Kirwin) McQuaid and lived in Webster all of her life. She was a retired history teacher, having been employed by the Webster School Department for over thirty-three years. She was a member of the Retired Teachers' Association and enjoyed the game of scrabble.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 beginning at 11:00 am, with a service at 12 Noon in the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Chester C. Corbin - Webster Public Library, 2 Lake Street, Webster, MA 01570.
