WEBSTER – Raymond A. Partridge, 87, died Monday, December 10, 2012, at Webster Manor Nursing Home in Webster.  He was born in Webster on March 2, 1925, the son of the late William and Hattie (Batten) Partridge, and was a lifelong resident of Webster.  He graduated from Bartelett High School in Webster and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Mr. Partridge is survived by his sister, Ruth Kephart and her husband Harold of Seattle, Washington.  He was a taxi driver for many years.  Later, he went out on his own driving 3 generations of children to school.  Those that behaved got a stick of gum when they got home.

A private graveside service will be held at Mount Zion Cemetery in Webster.  There are no calling hours.  Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oxford, is assisting with the arrangements.
