Richard C. Redfield, III, 27

DUDLEY - Richard C. "Ricky" Redfield, III, 27, of Dudley died Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Hubbard Regional Hospital after a snowmobile accident on New Pond in Dudley.

He leaves his parents, Richard C. Redfield, Jr. of Southbridge and Susan K. (Stewart) Redfield of Dudley; a sister, Rebecca S. C. Redfield of Webster; his paternal grandmother, Gwendolyn Snickers of Worcester and his maternal grandmother, Shirley Stewart of Millbury; 2 nephews, Jadin Leonard and Jace Gubaie; 2 aunts; 3 uncles; 2 half-sisters, Pamela and her husband Robert Frasier of Spencer and Cindy and her husband Michael Robinson of Holden; several half-nephews and half-nieces. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, John Stewart and Richard C. Redfield, Sr.

He was born in Worcester and lived in Dudley most of his life. He graduated from Shepherd Hill Regional High School in 2002. He played baseball in the Little League and in high school.

Mr. Redfield was a transmission specialist at Specialty Auto in Webster.

He was a member of the Dudley PNA. He enjoyed fishing and playing golf and had a love of the outdoors.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 4, at 10:00 AM in the First Congregational Church of Dudley, 135 Center Road. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Steven Howe Family Fund, care of Savers Bank, 35 Trolley Crossing, Charlton, MA 01507.
