Worcester - Roger P. Martell, age 58, died Thursday, August 16, 2012, at his home.

He leaves his wife of 37 years, Veronica M. (Fisher) Martell of Worcester; two sons, Jon Patrick Paul Martell of West Boylston and Chris James Roger Martell of Worcester; two brothers, Joseph Martell of Worcester and Richard Martell of Southbridge; a sister, Mary Ryant of Virginia. He was predeceased by a brother, Paul Martell.

Roger was born in Worcester, son of the late Paul and Celina (Hebert) Martell. He was formerly employed by Wirefab of Millbury before becoming disabled. He enjoyed the computer and was an avid dog lover.

There are no calling hours. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012, at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Chuch, 256 Hamilton Street, Worcester. Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster is directing arrangements.
