Shirley Frink, 82
Woodstock - Shirley (Keith) Frink, age 82, died Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam.
She was the wife of the late Robert G. Frink Sr., who died on February 24, 2006. She leaves two sons, Robert G. Frink Jr. and his wife Lynn Frink, Neil Frink and his wife Denise Frink, all of Woodstock; a daughter-in-law, Jane Frink of Dudley; four grandchildren, Jessica Frink Ciuchta of Webster, Amy Frink Vincent of Dayville and Abigal Frink of Woodstock and Christopher Castellani of Canterbury; a niece, Kathi Bates of Florida. She was predeceased by a son, Matthew Frink, and by a sister, Elva Sumner.
Shirley was born in Putnam, daughter of the late E. Dana and Hazel (Bennett) Keith, and lived in Woodstock most of her life, spending her childhood years in Eastford and attending the Eastford Schools. She owned and operated the Maplecrest Dairy Farm in Woodstock along with her husband. She was a member of the Senexet Grange in Woodstock, the First Congregational Church in Woodstock, and was a life member of the Woodstock Agricultural Society. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, knitting and bird watching.
There are no calling hours. Funeral services and burial are private. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
