William B. Paradis, 60

EDGARTOWN/WEBSTER - William B. "Bill" Paradis, 60, of Edgartown, formerly of Webster, died Saturday, February 25, 2012 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, after being 
stricken ill at Mount Wachusett in Princeton. 

He leaves his son, Wil Paradis; his former wife, Cyi G. (Gyi) Paradis of Falmouth; 2 brothers, Richard A. Paradis and his wife Sharon of Pascoag, RI, and Guy Paradis and his wife Lynn of Guam; 4 sisters, Nancy Paradis-Warner and her husband Jerry of Wernersville, PA, Gloria Gibney and her husband Bud of Sterling, Janine Perillo and her husband Michael of Pawcatuk, RI, and Bonnie Paradis of Webster; and many nephews and nieces.

Bill was born and raised in Webster, a son of Raymond A. and Myrtle F. (Burns) Paradis. He 
graduated from Marianhill High School in Southbridge. He moved to Edgartown on Martha’s Vineyard in 1988.

Mr. Paradis was first a printer at Cranston Print Works Company in Webster for 21 years. 
He was currently a contractor painter at the Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown where he 
worked for the last 24 years.

Bill was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He was a devoted father 
and liked spending time with his son.

Calling hours will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday, March 4, in the Sitkowski & Malboeuf 
Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster. Burial will be private. Instead of flowers, the 
family requests donations be made to Cape & Islands Veterans Outreach, 569 Main Street, 
Hyannis Port, MA 02601.
