WEBSTER- Andrew M. Beresik, age 86, of 36 Cudworth Road, died Monday, April 16, 2012, at his home.

He leaves his wife of 47 years, Mildred E. (Burgess) Beresik of Webster; a son, Andrew B. Beresik of Thompson, CT.; a daughter, Ellen T. LeBouef and her husband Thomas LeBouef of Hilton Head, SC; a grandson, Brian A. Beresik of Thompson, CT.; two sisters, Rose Manyak of Douglas and Ann A. Laskowski of Dudley. He was predeceased by three brothers, Eugene Beresik of Webster, Adam Beresik of Dudley and Joseph Beresik of Webster.

He was born in Webster, son of the late Martin and Theresa (Kopas) Beresik and lived here all his life. He was a World War II, United States Navy Veteran, and was a retired foreman, having worked many years at Cranston Print Works in Webster. Additionally, he was a member of the Slovak Sokol and loved gardening.

The funeral, will military honors, will be held on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 10:00 am in Saint Louis Church, Lake Street, Webster. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery, Webster. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Harrington Memorial Hospital Cancer Center. Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, is directing arrangements.
